SCS Wireless Mobile gives you the ability to take your work with you.
Access the internet from most locations within a mile (or more) of
the water tower on Kenton Station Road using a mobile device with
a wireless adapter. If you live within a mile of the tower, the Mobile
plans may also be the right solution for you. Because access is available
using a wireless adapter instead of SCS Wireless customer equipment,
the installation fee is waived. However for some, indoor coverage
may not be adequate when using a wireless adapter. For most situations
SCS Wireless recommends using SCS Wireless customer equipment for
indoor access. Wireless adapters come pre-installed on most new laptop
computers, if you need one for your laptop or desktop they can be
purchased from SCS by calling 563-1010.

- Antenna installation (typically on eve, chimney, roof vent,
or mast)
- Basic wire run (additional charges apply for custom installations)
- Indoor connection to PC via Ethernet
- PC configuration and service verification (see home networking
section under Network Information
for additional information on multi-computer networks)
- Account activation and email account setup
Additional material and hourly labor charges apply if additional equipment
and/or custom installations are needed.
