Connection Costs
Connection to the SCS Wireless Fast Internet service requires a
$99 professional installation charge
(residential). This professional installation includes:
- Antenna installation (typically on eve, chimney, roof vent, or
mast)
- One customer premise antenna. This antenna is the property of
SCS Wireless and the antenna must be returned to SCS Wireless
undamaged if service is terminated by either party
- Basic wire run (additional charges apply for custom installations)
- Indoor connection to PC via Ethernet (customer must have a NIC card)
- PC configuration and service verification
- Account activation and email account setup
Additional material and hourly labor charges apply if additional
equipment and/or custom installations are needed.
Security
The SCS Wireless Fast Internet service is a secure WAN (wide area
network). It is not a wireless LAN (local area network) or Wi-Fi
Hotspot. Our WAN uses advanced security measures such as MAC filtering
and data base authentication to verify users. Your home antenna
will only talk with our base station antenna so that you are always
on the SCS Wireless network.
If you send financial or other sensitive information and are not
using encryption or a secure layer, remember, your data is vulnerable
- regardless of the type of internet connection you have.
Although SCS Wireless has security measures in place, Security
is the responsibility of the customer.

Home Networking Home networking, or connecting more than one PC to the service, carries and additional $10.95 per month charge .
SCS Wireless can provide all of your home networking needs. From a NIC card to multi-computer wireless set-up, we have the experience and knowledge to deliver your network solutions. Standard pricing does not include hardware.
- Installation of a NIC Card - $25
- Installation of a switch or router - $40 + $5 per computer or network device
- Installation and configuration of a Wireless Access Point - $100
